How companies fool you with screen refresh rate gimmicks, know the solution

Now a days Gaming and high perforamnce devices such as laptos and smartphones have been mentioned as the best performing devices if their screen refresh rate or Screen frames per second is higher, but it's Almost a gimmick, know how to expose it.

I recently ordered a phone named Tecno Pova 5G which was promoted as the perforamnce king in its price range, no doubt it was one of the best performing smartphones when launched. It was being marketed with features like mediatek dimensity 900, 8GB of LP DDR4 RAM and 120Hz of screen refresh rate, but it's not reality as company promotes it.

I saw my friend using oneplus nord with the same screen rafresh rate 120Hz which seemed faster than mine, then i started doubting on company's claim, then my curiosity got on peak and i finally searched on google about my query then i realized that how company was lying to me. The time when i checked it was 90 frames per seconds of screen refresh rate on my phone.

Then i thought that i am the only one and the people like me who purchased this phone are having this issue. Then i met my friend who was using Vivo Y21, i asked him to let me check his phone. Once i checked then got to know that i am not the alone in terms of this issue. According to the company My friend's phone was hyped as a 90Hz refresh rate having smartphone but the time when i checked it was just 60Hz.

You can see the screenshots as proof that my phone's screen refresh rate is totally different than company's claim. Many tech enthusiasts and tech experts are there on YouTube who know it but don't want to declare because of the pressure of the smartphone brands. If they expose it then they'll be banned by the smartphone companies from getting devices for review, this is the main reason why they're afraid.
