We all know that Telecom brands like Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vi have starred providing 5G services in india. Jio & Airtel have announced that 5G users will get free unlimited 5G data, which is better?.
Both Jio and airtel have offered unlimited free 5G data to almost all towns accross India, but currently they haven't been able to provide free data to 5G users to all cities across India especially Airtel. I have faced the same issue as being a 5G device user. Jio and Airtel are providing 2 GB more over the daily data limit.
The main policy to get free unlimited 5G data is that your phone should have 5G bands that company has provided in your area. It means that if your phone has 7 5G bands and if two of them are provided by company at your area then your phone will support 5G and will probably get free 5G data. Which means more 5G bands more chances of 5G courage.
I tell you my story, my cousin who has a jio sim card and a 5G phone with around 5-7 5G bands got free 5G data. But i as a user of device having 11 5G bands could not get free data yet, do you know why? Well, it is because my network provider hasn't started rolling out free data in my area which is a town although my area supports airtel 5G. Bharti airtel has currently started rolling out free 5G data in capital cities of indian states.
While jio has started providing free 5G data to almost all cities of india even districts and small towns. That is why i ported to BSNL and due to bad network and courage I'll port my number to jio. As of my location Airtel is the best in terms of network but airtel is costly and not giving attention to the small towns like mine. As promised, Airtel will also provide this service to all cities across india but will take some time to complete, currently my state has one compatible city Ahmedabad, the capital city of gujarat as mentioned in airtel thanks app.
